Look at the star-studded list of artists, whose extraordinary talent brought these classic characters to life. Isn't this one of the biggest suitcases of butt-kicking in the DC Comics Universe?! While not as well known, it's as cool, diverse and big, as the costumed families of all them big man-superheroes! Honestly, upon gathering the Wonders together for a family portrait, ..the variety of style and loo

SHE'S NOT A MOON--SHE'S A SPACE STATION: PAGING DOCTOR CYBER!

Second Edition By Edgar Miraculous Dyer With celebrity writers regularly trashing the Wonder Woman comic's super-villains in the media, why is Doctor Cyber still in mothballs? Why does it seem that, where  Doctor Cyber  is concerned, that  Wonder Woman  editors are pinching their noses or ignoring her altogether? She's a GREAT supervillain, comparatively speaking, ..and might be a top tier villain in comic books, like Mighty Avengers, Iron Man or Uncanny X-Men, ..while completely wasted in the pages of Wonder Woman. Will the prospective success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens force DC writers/editors to reconsider Cyber, as a major Wonder Woman villain? If there's anyone at DC Comics, who can see past the next CHEETAH story - anyone with a real vision for Wonder Woman's place in the world in and beyond the comics - this has got to happen. With another Star Wars blockbuster on the horizon, the idea that no DC entity is even slurring or burping 'DOCTOR CYBER'

WONDER WOMAN'S BLOODY AMAZONS--CAN'T LIVE WITH 'EM...

Second Edition By Edgar Miraculous Dyer I think comics illustrator superstar,  George Perez,  left the comic and the Wonder Woman,  inside  it, on the right track, in 1992. Perez returned her to her original mission and independence in Man's World. His Diana promised 'visits' to Paradise Island, to her heartbroken mother, Queen Hippolyta, in Perez's last issue, which he wrote, himself. Seeing her visit the Island again, was something I could live with - even look forward to. Discarding the Amazons, as I see it, is out of the question, because I think the Island has always been a special part of the  Wonder Woman  comic… And should remain so. UPDATE: Things are changing, in the pages of Wonder Woman...   HAPPILY EVER AFTERWORLDS: CONRAD, CLOONAN, MOORE AND THE SECOND GOLDEN AGE OF WONDER WOMAN (wondabunga.blogspot.com) Wonder Woman can't even go for a morning dip, without three thousand Ama...no wonder she left that damn island! Prob'ly. (H. G. Peter art) It'

THINKING 'BOUT OUR BILLS, A HEX, SOME HEADLINES, AND WHEN THE CHEETAH'S GONNA' DIE!

Second Edition By Edgar Miraculous Dyer Big problem with the  Wonder Woman  comic's perennial arch-villain,  Cheetah,  is how  unclear  it is exactly what she wants! Just what exactly does this lady  want,  from one story to the next? Is it money? Immortality? Blood-lust? A very big ball of string? What? Whether it's the Great American novel, a classic film, we, the audience, w...whatever - we absolutely  must  know what the  villain  wants ..and is willing to do the most awful things, imaginable, to get! That's the whole story. Find a super-villainess, worthy of sharing that bill, with  Won der Wo man,  ..and you have a  headline. UPDATE: Things are changing, in the pages of Wonder Woman...   HAPPILY EVER AFTERWORLDS: CONRAD, CLOONAN, MOORE AND THE SECOND GOLDEN AGE OF WONDER WOMAN (wondabunga.blogspot.com) Furthermore, it has rarely, if ever, been established how what Cheetah wants, that makes her uniquely suited (like more, than Catwoman or ) ..to be Diana's worst ni
